THE DREAM: Billy Graham and the Antioch of Asia

This is the full transcript of the dream given to Ps Lou Engle on Wednesday night while the leaders were having dinner.

It was around March this year (2016) that I had a dream, one that did not make much sense, until recently when God began to show me the big picture, and the puzzles began to fall into place.

In the dream, I ran into a white room that had no walls. I looked around and before me was an endless expanse of white marble floor. Right in the middle of that room is a throne that was made out of the same white marble and is one body with the floor. It isn’t just another piece of furniture in the room, it was part of the room as much as the room was part of it. And on the throne, sat a grandfatherly-like figure. His face was so bright I could hardly see his features. He wore pristine robes and I could briefly see he had snow white hair and a short beard.

I remembered running up to the man on the throne exclaiming excitedly, “Do you know that the greatest revival in history of mankind is about to happen in Singapore?” And I continued to gabber on in excitement.

At that point in time I had no idea I had walked into the throne room and was actually talking with Papa God. It is actually pretty comical now if you think about it. He is God. There is nothing that he doesn’t know.

In the dream, He looked at me and laughed. It was a deep baritone yet sounded like a crystal wineglasses clinking in a staccato melody. Analysing that scenario in my waking hours, he was not actually laughing at me, rather he was delighted with me. However, that few moments in the dream, I felt like I shrunk in size and felt like a little child, and pouted with my arms crossed, thinking why is this old man laughing at me?

As if he heard what went through my mind. He said, “How about the old church and the new church? The new move of God and the old move of God?” He left me with that because the next moment, I saw the air before me shimmered and I saw a rustling of white curtains appeared and disappeared, Billy Graham walked into the throne room. That millisecond I recognised that Mr Graham was in his 60s (He was 60 year old when he gave the word about sg the antioch of asia in 1978). And I woke up with the words ringing in my head "more will be given to those who humble themselves".

Then in August 2016,  while I was scrolling through facebook, I came across the picture below, which is the exact same face, angle and expression I saw in my dream. It was so uncanny that I had goosebumps. And when I looked at the caption, my surprise progressed to shock, this picture was taken in 1978! I never believed in coincidences. God is the best communicator in the world. If He wants to communicate something to us, He makes sure He gets it across.

Actually, I m not very familiar with Mr Graham at all and had no idea about his visit in 1978. I only finally connected the dots in August 2016, when my spiritual father got me to share during a closed door meeting and a gentleman interpreted the dream and talked about the declaration Mr Graham said of SG in 1978. My spiritual father progressively also had the same word about the fulfillment of the 40years in 2018, which was the same thing Ps Lou talked about before hearing about the dream.

Reflection:
But as with all prophesies, dreams and visions, God requires His people to participate. We can wait for 2018 to come and pass, or the people of God arise, shine and GO. I wonder about the new move and the old move of God, the new church and the old church, the younger generation and the older generation, how much will it take to bind them in Unity. What will inspire such hunger, such laid down lives to march forward as one Body in Christ and spread the love of God into all the earth?

I HAVE A DREAM: FOR SINGAPORE

After much thought, I decided to start a blog to give this dream in March 2016 a voice. This dream was shared and declared over Singapore during Kingdom Invasion 2017 by Lou Engle with nations, with brothers and sisters, with sons and daughters, the Body of Christ, who needs to come together in Unity for such a time as this. Lou Engle shared my dream with another dream that his friend had just before Lou came to Singapore and both dreams dovetail. Papa God has been putting a burden upon my heart to start a blog to share my heart. I have always been writing, I used to write for magazines, but as for writing about my walk with God in such a public platform, this is a first. Perhaps, now is the time to start. I have been seeing the following verse a lot recently: Habakkuk 2:2 Then the LORD said to me, "Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others I examined my heart, consulted my friends, asked my leaders, prayed and felt the u...

Is Revival Enough?

I have been doing some research on this topic. And found an extremely insightful opinion writing by Joseph Mattera "4 Reasons Why Revival is not Enough" . Often the word revival is over hyped and its purpose not fully comprehended. Here are some questions. Why do we want revival? What is the purpose of revival? Are we ready if tomorrow 100 new believers walk into our churches? Something to ponder over and contemplate this article in the context of Singapore... I have been in countless meetings with church leaders who are impassioned to see a revival in our nation and/or in their churches and communities. One time, after a national prayer leader spoke on the need for the church to pray for revival, I raised my hand and asked him: "For what purpose do we want revival?" He was dumbfounded by that simple question and could not really answer me. I have found that revival in and of itself is never enough! By revival we mean when God revives His people by res...
